Elon Musk became the prime target of hacker organisation ‘Anonymous’ on Sunday, with the organisation accusing the Tesla CEO of “killing lives” by aiming to centralise bitcoin mining and purportedly liquidating people’s aspirations through his “public temper tantrums.”
Anonymous released a video message in which they attacked Musk for allegedly mistreating staff and attempting to centralise and control bitcoin mining.
“As hard-working people have their dreams liquidated over your public rage tantrums, you continue to mock them with memes from one of your million-dollar mansions,” the Hacker group claimed in an attack on Musk for his meme-posting on happenings in the crypto sector.
“You may believe you’re the smartest person in the room, but now you’ve met your match,” the film concludes with a message to Musk. We keep our identities hidden. Legion is our name. We’ll be there.” For his Twitter posts, Elon Musk is often credited with causing price fluctuations in the cryptocurrency market, earning him the moniker “The Musk Effect.”
